Position on new fire house

We need to develop a long-term solution for our Fire Department facilities .  Our community is extremely fortunate to have a team of dedicated and well-trained firefighters.  The fire department facilities on the other hand are aging and no longer meet the department’s needs.  In partnership with the Fire Department, the Fire Advisory Board, and our community, it is imperative that we advance plans for a new fire station for Exeter Township.  A new facility will likely help attract firefighters and volunteer firefighters alike. We will accomplish this in a way that maximizes grant funds and private sector contribution so as to not burden our taxpayers.

Position on multi year planning and 1st Class Township measure

I support engaging the Center for Excellence in Local Government for our multi year planning.

I support a ballot measure for our residents to consider the transition to a township of the first class.

Potential benefits include: 1. Improved representation 2. Shorter commissioner terms: 4 years rather than 6 years 3. Health Benefits Comprehensive Plan – We will collaborate with the Planning Commission and partner municipalities to update our Comprehensive Plan and ensure it reflects the future needs of our community.

Q&A: What skills, knowledge, and experience do you have to help you be an effective Township Supervisor

As a 28-year resident and an incumbent candidate for the Board of Supervisors, I am familiar with both the strengths and challenges within our community. My experience includes serving as a past Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, being a member of the Friends of the Police charitable organization, and participating on the Township Fire Advisory Board. During my tenure on the board, we appealed water rate increases, completed the streetscape project under budget, and re-opened the historic Reading Country Club.

Q&A: Why are you running for Supervisor?

I am focused on several key areas to benefit our community. Fire Department – We need a facilities plan that addresses the specific needs of our emergency services personnel, including EMS. First Class Township Initiative – We will place a measure on the ballot in 2026 for community consideration regarding the transition to a First Class Township.

Q&A: What is the biggest issue facing Exeter Township?

In Exeter Township specifically, it is actually the cost of water that currently has the greatest impact on families. In my role as Supervisor, I authored the first-ever rate rebuttal testimony by a township supervisor and will continue to fight for fair and reasonable rates for our community.
